Dampak Covid-19 Terhadap Kemampuan Membaca Dan Menulis Studi Kasus: SDN Pareang Gunung Karamat

Abstract
The current pandemic has an impact not only on the economic sector, but also on the education sector, which has led to online learning, so many negative rather than positive effects can be seen. This study aims to understand how to improve the reading and writing skills of SD Pareang Gunung Karamat students in grades 2-5. The method in this study used a qualitative descriptive method. The implementation of this research was carried out with the following steps; (1) Preparation of the research, the author asks the relevant parties for permission to conduct research at the locality, in this case the related party is a teacher at SDN Pareang; (2) data collection, the authors conducted interviews with teachers, vice principals, and made direct observations by becoming temporary teachers for students in grades 2-5 SD Pareang; (3) data analysis is done by reducing the data. The results of the study showed that many students of SDN Pareang Class 2-5 were unable to read and write due to the impact of covid-19 and resulted in several impacts on the indicators that occurred, namely; ; (1) The readiness of parents to become mentors during the SFH (Study From Home) period; (2) the level of student adaptation to learning; (3) Comfortable Learning during the pandemic; (4) Availability of devices and internet connection to support learning.

Abstrak
Pandemi yang terjadi saat ini berdampak bukan hanya di sektor perekonomian saja melainkan sanagt berdampak pada sektor pendidikan, dimana hal tersebut mengakibatkan pembelajaran menjadi Daring sehingga banyak dampak negatif yang terlihat daripada dampak positifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis pada siswa kelas 2-5 di SD Pareang Gunung Karamat. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut; (1) Persiapan penelitian, penulis meminta izin kepada pihak terkait untuk melakukan penelitian pada lokasi tersebut adalah hal ini pihak terkait merupakan pengajar SDN Pareang; (2) pengumpulan data, penulis melakukan wawancara terhadap pengajar, wakil kepala sekolah, dan melakukan observasi secara langsung dengan menjadi pengajar sementara untuk siswa kelas 2-5 SD pareang; (3) analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan bahwa siswa SDN Pareang Kelas2-5 banyak yang belum bisa membaca dan menulis akibat dampak covid-19 tersebut dan mengakibatkan beberapa dampak pada indikator yang terjadi yaitu; ; (1) Kesiapan orang tua menjadi pembimbing pada masa SFH (Study From Home); (2) Tingkat Adaptasi Siswa terhadap Pembelajaran; (3) Kenyaman Pembelajaran masa pandemi; (4) Ketersediaan perangkat dan koneksi internet sebagai penunjang pembelajaran.
